We teamed up with members of Ghanaian rock band Dark Suburb to distribute ‘Give Back Ghana’ food essentials boxes to about 30 widows in Nima, a suburb of Accra. This exercise was done to help ease the burden of widows who had been hit by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
We distributed packs of warm packs of food to some less privileged folks hit who had been hit by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic at Christ The King Parish. . We later on visited the Accra Psychiatric Hospital where we also donated some packs of food to the facility.
As part of our ‘Christmas on Wheels’ project, we visited the Shelter for Abused Children to donate some festive goodies after a short pep talk. Last time we were here was about three years ago with TV personality Berla Mundi.
We kicked off the Christmas festivities with a Christmas Cup in partnership with the Gomoa Sports for Change and Ngorli Foundation. We had a total of number 200 people which included the aged, the middle aged, the youth and kids as participants of the Program.
