#GreenAtHeart – Eminem Helps Raise Money For Manchester Terrorist Attack Victims

Eminem comes through for Manchester. The self-proclaimed “bad guy who makes fun of people that die” continues to prove that there’s a heart of gold behind the Slim Shady persona.

Marshall Mathers took a break from (hopefully) working on his new album to pledge an undisclosed amount toward the the JustGiving page set up to assist families hurt by the recent act of terror that occurred in Manchester at the top of the week during an Ariana Grande concert has put the entire world on notice, with ISIS claiming responsibility for the bombing that left 22 adults and children dead and more than 100 injured.

Taking to his sparsely used Twitter account, Marshall Mathers showed his humane side by urging his 20-million-strong following to donate through the British Red Cross as well the Manchester News Desk.

“Join me in helping Manchester victims & their families, Make a donation to the @BritishRedCross and @MENnewsdesk,” Slim Shady tweeted as the outlined goal of £2,000,000 ($2,562,650 USD) had been set.

The total currently stands at more than £1.6m and is part of a pot now totalling £4.1m after being merged into the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, set up with the Red Cross and the council.

On a side note, Ariana Grande herself returned to social media to reveal she will be returning to the city for a benefit concert. “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families,” she tweeted.
