#GreenAtHeart – LeBron James Donates $41 Million To Send 1,100 Kids To College

NBA star, LeBron James has reportedly donated an unprecedented $41 million to put 1,100 Ohio kids through college. FORTY ONE MILLION!

The remarkable offering is part of his partnership with the University Of Akron, in which kids enrolled in his “I Promise” program will have the opportunity to receive a fully guaranteed four-year college scholarship.

Students enrolled in the program will need to first graduate high school within Akron’s public school system and achieve standard testing requirements, as well as fulfill some sort of community service obligation- which students will gladly do for a free ride to college.

“It’s the reason I do what I do. These students have big dreams, and I’m happy to do everything I can to help them get there. They’re going to have to earn it, but I’m excited to see what these kids can accomplish knowing that college is in their futures.” – LeBron James

#GreenAtHeart – Drake gave away the entire $1 million budget for his new music video

Drake’s new music video for “God’s Plan” is making waves, but not just because of his chart-topping song.

Rather, it’s because the rapper gave away the project’s entire $996,631.90 budget, which he chronicles throughout the video.

The next six minutes feature Drake handing out stacks of cash to people on the street, delivering toys to the children of Miami’s Lotus House, surprising a family with a brand new car and providing a scholarship to a student at the University of Miami, among other acts of kindness.

#GreenAtHeart :- Taylor Swift Makes ‘Very Sizable Donation’ to Houston Food Bank After Hurricane Harvey

Giving back. Taylor Swift is the latest star to step up and lend a helping hand to those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas.

According to the Houston Food Bank, the 27-year-old entertainer donated an unknown, but “sizable” amount of money to aid victims of the devastating storm, which has cost at least 44 people their lives.

“Taylor Swift has generously made a very sizable donation to Houston Food Bank in honor of her mother who graduated from the University of Houston,” the facility wrote of the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer on Facebook on Friday, September 1. “We thank you, Taylor, and we thank everyone for donating to help rebuild our community. #houstonstrong.”

This isn’t the first time Swift has shelled out cash for those in need either. Over the years, she’s donated money to sick fans, victims of the 2016 Tennessee wildfires and the 2008 Iowa flood.

Although the Grammy winner has not commented on the donation herself, she joins a list of charitable celebs that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Tyler Perry, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, and NFL player J.J. Watt.
